Britain’s BrExit Journey
Britain’s BrExit journey reminds me of the journey of life itself. We want freedom and yet we want to cooperate with others and feel that we “belong”.
The thing about cooperating with others is this: When we cooperate and “belong” we lose some autonomy. In other words, we give up something in order to get something.
“Cooperating", “giving” and “getting” are not always bad; however, when we give up the good and get the bad, we lose.
Britain appears to be losing its Christian heritage. The loss of Christian heritage is one of the greatest losses a country can suffer.
As I survey the countries of Western Europe through the binoculars of the Word of Almighty God (the Holy Bible) I am appalled at how far some appear to have strayed from that word. It is as if they no longer believe the word of Almighty God. For that reason alone, I think Britain is justified in seeking to exit and correct its Spiritual path.
Clearly, secularism has captured much of the Western Hemisphere (and not just in Europe). As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am very vexed by the public and national acceptance and promotion of practices, philosophies, and acts that Almighty God (in the Holy Bible) clearly identifies as sin.
It appears to me that the best way for Britain to return to the path of Righteousness is by BrExiting.
I am praying for Britain as it suffers and endures the hardships of the journey and trusts God for a successful conclusion of its endeavor.
